Welcome to my Shred Shed! Here we'll talk about various aspects of guitar, music, recording, tricks, tips and monsters. Yes, monsters! I will feature some of the scariest guitar players I've ever met, as well as some stuff from my own personal archive of instrumentals. This should be quite a learning experience and lots of fun too. I'll be posting my own personal instrumental video's as well as audio and other assorted goodies to keep you both interested and inspired. We'll also be featuring a "scary guitar player" each month, so you guitar maniacs will always have a fresh dose of monsters doing what they do best.

I'm not going to JUST feature shredders here. There will be a well rounded group of players contributing to this. You may even find yourself wanting to learn a new style. Sure most of our hearts belong to shred and hard rock, but some of these guys are definitely worth a listen. Some jazz, some fusion, finger picking, classical, country, blues, hell, you name it, we'll have it eventually.

My reasoning for this (in case you're wondering) is because I belong to a guitar site called GuitarWar.com. I've had the pleasure of meeting some of the coolest players in the world on that site, and they deserve recognition. We need to bring guitar back in music again, and it only takes a few people to spread the word letting others know there still IS a scene for extreme guitar.
